The Invictus Games is a global sporting event dedicated to wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women, using the power of sport to inspire recovery and rehabilitation. As part of the wider Invictus Games brand strategy, there was a need to develop a localised identity for Invictus Games Australia.

The challenge was to develop a cohesive and flexible design concept that could be effectively implemented across event branding, merchandise, digital platforms, and promotional materials - ensuring that Invictus Games Australia remains recognisable, engaging, and aligned with its global counterpart while standing out as a proud representation of Australia’s sporting spirit.

This project aimed to create a distinctive, adaptable, and inclusive visual identity that aligns with the core Invictus Games philosophy while incorporating a uniquely Australian perspective. By drawing on Aboriginal artistic influences, geometric structures, and modular design principles, the new brand identity fosters a sense of belonging, resilience, and camaraderie among Australian athletes, supporters, and partners. The design strikes a balance between seriousness and playfulness, capturing both the strength of the Invictus brand and the warmth and vibrancy of the Australian sporting community.
